Department of physics at the college of education for pure and applied sciences (Ibn al-Haitham) organized a seminar entitled “Medical Physics” with the aim to invest physics in the medical field in the areas of diagnosis and treatment and to highlight the most important modern techniques in several fields such as MIR, CT, PET, Echo and Sonar and other devices used in the last century and witnessed a great evolution. The seminar concluded with certain recommendations to include this topic within the vocabulary of university curriculum in addition to training students on pressure gauge and X-ray devices.
