Department of food sciences at the college of agricultural engineering held its scientific course entitled “Nanotechnology in agricultural engineering” at the department of plant protection. The course discussed matters related to the significance of this intelligent technology and its applications in the field of plant production through the processes of preservation, processing, packaging and ending with waste processing. This event witnessed numerous discussions in this regard including the role of nanotechnology, in the past and present, in the diagnosis and resistance of plant diseases, animal production and food processing.
