College of media at University of Baghdad held the 3rd Iraqi forum for digital media education at the college theater in Jadriya in cooperation with specialists from competent authorities of the ministry of interior, the Supreme Judicial Council, media authority and the Iraqi media network. The aim of the forum is to discuss E-blackmail and to keep abreast of world events and developments in various media areas such as cyber blackmail which is one of the biggest risks facing internet and smart devices’ users who do not have any accurate knowledge about their information security which may result in problems that affect the psychological status of people, especially in our societies governed by traditions. It is noteworthy that the ministerial committee for the development and modernization of curricula of media colleges in Iraq approved the introduction of new materials that keep pace with the recent technical and technological developments in media sector.
