Prof. Dr. Siham Abdul Majeed from the department of Turkish language, college of languages participated in an international conference held in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Siham Abdul Majeed presented a paper to the 2nd international conference held at Haci Bektas Veli University entitled “common words between the Turkish and Kurdish languages used in Iraq” that dealt with common vocabulary in these languages that might reflect the peaceful coexistence of nationalities in our country. At the conclusion of this event, Dr. Siham received a certificate of participation and membership in the conference advisory committee.
