Prof. Dr. Alaa Karim Mohammed, dean of Al-Khawarizmi college of engineering participated in a workshop sponsored by the center for rehabilitation and employment at University of Baghdad in cooperation with the ministry of higher education and scientific research for students of engineering with the attendance of Associate Rector for scientific affairs Assist. Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel Abdul Latif. The workshop aimed at supporting Iraqi graduates through an initiative in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) that is expected to establish the overall strategic framework for the advancement of telecommunications and informatics sector in line with the developed countries as well as to develop the services sector in Iraq in fields of health, education, agriculture, trade, industry and banks for the sake of creating smart systems that serve Iraqi students in government institutions.
