The central library at University of Baghdad concluded its training course on bibliographic cataloging and Mark 21 Record in accordance with WAM rules which was held in cooperation with the department of research and development at the ministry of higher education and scientific research and sponsored by the Association of Information and Library Specialists. It is noteworthy this event comes as part of a series of courses held for discussing the Unified Arab Index in libraries in 2019 that may enhance the work of Arab and Iraqi librarians in particular as well as to undertake periodic reviews of the practices of the Arabic Cataloge in Iraqi academic libraries. At the conclusion of this course, certificates of appreciation and discretionary shields were dedicated for the participants.
