A delegation of UN and UNICEF visited the college of engineering at University of Baghdad represented by the advisor of environment and climate change Silvia Kaya at United Nations and the Director-General of UNICEF in Iraq. The visit aimed at getting addressing matters related to reducing the impact of global climate change and the shortage of water resources. The delegation met with a group of professors from the college of engineering who have the public and private sectors in order to find solutions that would enable researchers to apply their research findings to local and global industrial and field systems.
