Department of physics at University of Baghdad held a symposium entitled (the importance of laser in medicine) to diagnose and treat skin cancer disease through the use of laser to raise the awareness of people in this regard how to diagnose such cases via spectroscopy technology. The symposium witnessed the participation of Dr. Samar Yunus Taha who talked about dynamic phototherapy by the use of light sensors to produce oxygen to create optical chemical reaction that can get rid of cancer cells selectively.
