College of engineering at University of Baghdad represented by the department of petroleum engineering participated in Iraq forum conference for energy and economics held by Iraq Energy Institute in cooperation with the ministry of oil under the slogan (towards a successful energy sector and multi resources economy). The conference was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Haidar al-Abadi, Parliament Speaker Dr. Salim al-jubouri and His Excellency Minister of higher education and scientific research Dr. Abdul Razak al-Essa, Minister of oil Prof. Jabbar Ali al-Laibi, dean of the college of engineering Saba Jabar Neima al-Khafaji, Associate dean for administrative and financial affairs Dr. Kazim Rahim, head of department of oil engineering Dr. Falih Hassan Mohammed al-Mahdawi. It is worth mentioning that the conference witnessed a wide participation of Iraqi and foreign experts who presented their papers in this regard.
