The faculty of engineering at University of Baghdad held the first meeting of the sector committee of architecture in the presence of the deans and heads of departments of architecture in Iraqi universities (Baghdad, Basra, Karbala, Mustansiriyah, Technology, Wasit, Muthanna, Uruk and Isra). The attendants kept abreast during this meeting with the ministry of higher education and scientific research directives concerning forming committees of experts. Many questions were agreed upon that related to the study in architecture department and the meeting ended with the naming of members of the committee of experts and its work in the light of the ministry’s instructions.
