Center of revival of Arab scientific heritage at University of Baghdad organized a symposium under the slogan (Iraqi Festival named: eye in exile and heart in home) in the presence of director of the center Assistant Prof. Dr. Abdul Allah Hamid al-Etabi and Advisor of the European- Arab center for counter-terrorism and intelligence studies in Germany as well as a number of researchers and staff. The symposium included several axes including the concept of immigration and its historic track in Islamic history in addition to the behavioral and psychological dimensions of the immigrant character and the influence of migration on young Iraqis at the moment as well as how to reverse migration towards home. The symposium addressed also the need for academic studies in the field of sociology to reach at objective perceptions in this regard and calling government agencies to find successful ways to create awareness of our community towards the gravity of this phenomenon and its impact on the structure of Iraqi society which would leave negative effects on all joints of life.
