University of Baghdad gets the 207th rank in Scimago at the level of universities in the Middle East


Baghdad University got the 207th rank in the Spanish Scimago Institutions Rankings out of 237 global universities. The director of the department of quality assurance and University performance, Assistant Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashur announced this global achievement at the level of Middle East, indicating that this classification was adopted to evaluate research institutions according to research methodology based on three factors: (research, creativity and affecting the community). This institution is consisted of members of the Spanish National Research Council “CSIC” from University of Granada, Charles III University in Madrid and University of Alcalá, University of Extremadura and other educational institutions in Spain.
