Faculty of veterinary medicine inaugurates a laboratory for tissue bio-implanting


Dean of the college of veterinary medicine, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abdul Hussein al-Zubaidi, inaugurated a laboratory for tissue, molecular and bio-implanting in the department of microbiology in the presence of Associate dean for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies, Assistant Prof. Dr. Bahaa Fakhri Hussein, an instructor at the department of microbiology and a number of postgraduate students. Head of department, Assistant Prof. Asmaa Hamoudi and Assistant Prof. Dr. Atheer al-Douri sought to establish this project under their supervision and received the attendants in this event. It is worth mentioned that this laboratory is considered as one of the advanced laboratories equipped with the latest equipment to be ready for the reception of researchers in postgraduate studies and professors. The laboratory includes the following devices: Cold centrifuge, DNA-RNA distraction, three incubation, water path, inverted microscope, PCR and others that can be used by the researcher.
