Ibn Sina Center for E-learning held a scientific symposium on support and development of education under the slogan (Towards a good education based on E-learning as one of the sustainable development global goals). This symposium was in line with a conference held by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in cooperation with the United Nations development program in Iraq about sustainable development where Ibn Sina Center took upon itself to sponsor the development of the good education. Director of the research and development department at the ministry of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Gassan Hamid Abdul Majid gave a lecture during which he addressed the importance of Impact Factor on the sobriety of scientific journals and their publications. Also Dr. Amer al-Ameer, a consultant at Ibn Sina Center shed light in his lecture on the ways to use of modern techniques in education and work at the center. The teacher Hisham Abd Manaf gave a lecture entitled “education for sustainable development” where representatives of all university formations attended to participate in this event. It is worth mentioned that this symposium was held on the sidelines of the 17th sustainable development resolution announced by United Nations for the years (2015-2030).
