Directives of the Council Chairman
First: Commitment to study hours for students and teaching staff at our university for the academic year (2013/2014), with emphasis on uniforms.
Second: Submitting a plan list of conferences and seminars for (2014) to the ministry, not later than 15/10/2013 based on the book issued by ministry of higher education and scientific research/Research and Development Department No. b c 3/12169, dated 12/9/2013.
Third: Submitting the names of students covered by student grant included in the book issued by the ministry of higher education and scientific research/legal and administrative division/financial affairs department/budgeting division No. s/6/22612, dated 17/9/2013 to University Presidency to send it to the ministry.
Fourth: Calling the ministry of higher education and scientific research to approve the candidates for scientific conferences and symposiums to develop studies and other scientific matters who were selected through ministerial committees for the purpose of nominating the best based on their scientific qualifications and CV.
Fifth: Hosting the meetings of University Council in other university formations according to a schedule to maintain communication.
Sixth: Emphasis on the colleges to host students according to humanitarian conditions according to the capacity of them.
Seventh: All university faculties should develop teaching methods and techniques to serve and develop the practical side of the graduates according to labor market need since scientific curricula are highly advanced.
Eighth: Emphasis in cooperation between the councils of faculties and departments to prepare new instructors of doctorates and prepare them properly by making use of scientific expertise of professors in departments to lead the educational process.
Ninth: Commitment to test instructions when handling certain cases of students according to the college council decisions in accordance with the instructions of the ministry.
Tenth: Calling graduate students to complete their studies without having to ask for extensions, which causes waste of time and money and not to ask for special extensions unless under compelling humanitarian circumstances.
Eleventh: Postgraduate student research missions should be within the original search term and not during the extension period in accordance with the controls.
Twelfth: Associate university president for administrative affairs directs to pursue implementation of the disposition of the wastes accumulated in colleges to remove them after taking all the necessary legal procedures.
Then the university council president considered other issues on the agenda to take appropriate decisions as follows:
Determining the graduation date for our students/second term for the academic year (2012/2013)
The council considered the book of the Student Affairs and Ratification Division No. u/f/6363, dated 16/9/2013, determining that Monday, 30/09/2013 is the date for the graduation of the second term students in the academic year 2012/2013, except for the students of the faculties (medicine, Al-Kindy college of medicine) who would graduate on 31/12/2013 and after the debate, the council adopted this resolution:

Agree on determining that Monday 30 September 2013 is the date for the graduation of the second term students in the academic year 2012/2013, except for the students of the faculties (medicine, Al-Kindy college of medicine) who would graduate on 31/12/2013.
