A symposium entitled “the future of the industrial governmental sector in Iraq” held at the faculty of administration and economics

  A symposium entitled “the future of the industrial governmental sector in Iraq” held at the faculty of administration and economics Department of public administration at the faculty of administration and economics at Baghdad University organized a symposium entitled (the future of the industrial governmental sector in Iraq) where prof. Dr. Ali Hassoun Al-Taie, an instructor at the department gave a detailed explanation about the realities of the industrial sector in Iraq which suffers from many problems and difficulties that make it unable to achieve efficiency and effectiveness and called the community to address these problems with explanation, analysis, interpretation and to find pragmatic solutions to solve the real problems of industry such as low oil prices and lack of alternatives. The symposium offered further solutions to increase the manufactured material and to reduce the imported material from abroad which will provide foreign currency and solve the problems of unemployment and social problems because of this sector’s inability to meet its obligations. This symposium came within a series of symposiums held at the department to address fundamental problems afflicting Iraqi society in general and public administration organizations in particular and the reflection of those problems on particular management organizations. This symposium was attended by a number of professors and preliminary and graduate students.
